Kingston, NY - Ulster County Clerk Nina Postupack is pleased to welcome the Woodstock Museum to the Matthewis Persen House Museum on Thursday, June 27 and Thursday, August 8th for a film screening of “Iroquois Power for the 21st Century.”  The museum is conveniently located at 74 John Street in uptown Kingston, at the corner of John and Crown Streets. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.

Join Shelli Lipton and Nathan Koenig from the Woodstock Museum for a film screening of "Iroquois Power for the 21st Century" at the Matthewis Persen House on June 27th from 11 am to 4:30 pm. This educational event features seven half-hour episodes, allowing attendees to come and go as they please to watch one or all of the episodes. Producers Shelli Lipton and Nathan Koenig will be present to engage with the audience, answer questions, and serve refreshments. The screening will also be repeated on August 8th for those who cannot attend the first showing.

"Iroquois Power for the 21st Century" offers a compelling look at American history from the Iroquois perspective, shedding light on the crucial contributions and often overlooked role the Iroquois played in helping shape the United States government.
