The “Return the F.A.V.O.R.” Veteran Discount Program (Find & Assist Veterans Of Record) is a way that our county can recognize the service and sacrifices made by our veterans.  The program allows eligible individuals to receive a picture I.D. card which identifies them as an honorably discharged veteran or the surviving spouse of an honorably discharged veteran and allows them to obtain discounts on goods and services at participating businesses.

Veterans & Surviving Spouses

Receive your “Return the F.A.V.O.R.” Veteran Discount card today.  

  1. Call the Veterans’ Service Agency at (845) 340-3190 to verify that the proper documentation is on file and to receive the program application.
  2. Bring your signed application to the Ulster County Clerk’s Office, 244 Fair Street on the 2nd Floor.  Staff is available to create your card weekdays from 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:45.
  3. Receive your card and start saving!

Participation in “Return the F.A.V.O.R.” is simple.

  1. Fill out the Merchant Application Form
  2. Submit the completed application to the County Clerk’s Office.

  1. The County provides a window sign identifying you as a participant.
