There are two searchable components available online, the Series Descriptions and the Records Index Queries. The Series Descriptions provide an overview of similar types of records, whereas the Records Index Queries provide information specific to an individual record series, such as Census or Naturalization records.

These 4 options give an overview of the records in storage with information like date range, number of volumes and amount of records in storage. You can search by Collection, Record Series Title, Date or Keyword.

In celebration of Black History Month, the Ulster County Surrogates Court and Ulster County Clerk's Office have worked together to present an exhibit on the life of Sojourner Truth in Ulster County. The exhibit is on display in the Courtroom of the Surrogates Court in the Ulster County Office Building, 244 Fair Street, 3rd Floor, Kingston.

The Persen House receives hundreds of students each year on field trips and organized tours. It is our goal to provide them with a fun, positive learning experience that helps to engage them in their local history.
