Ulster County Clerk Announces Environmental Information Session at the Matthewis Persen House Museum

Kingston, NY - Ulster County Clerk Nina Postupack is pleased to announce that on Saturday, July 22nd, the Ulster County Department of the Environment will host an interactive information session at the Matthewis Persen House located at 74 John Street in uptown Kingston, at the corner of John and Crown Streets. The house will be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is free and all are welcome.

We are delighted to invite you to a special event where you can learn more about the remarkable work being done by the Ulster County Department of the Environment. This department serves as the cornerstone for environmental policy and resource planning within County government, and we believe that gaining a deeper understanding of their initiatives and accomplishments will greatly benefit our community. The Ulster County Department of the Environment operates on a unique and innovative pooled resources model. By collaborating with other departments, they bring together a diverse range of expertise to address pressing environmental issues.

“We are so pleased to have staff from the Department of the Environmental at the Persen House this weekend,” stated County Clerk Nina Postupack. “I encourage everyone to stop in, chat, and hopefully gain a deeper understanding of their initiatives and accomplishments. Together, we can work towards a more sustainable and thriving future for Ulster County and beyond.”
