The County Clerk’s Office would like to thank the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce for having County Clerk Nina Postupack and County Archivist/City of Kingston Historian Taylor Bruck as presenters at the May 26th Chamber Breakfast. It is always an honor to bring our history out to the public and to share the many events happening this summer and fall. Thank you also to City of Kingston Mayor Steve Noble for co-presenting with us this morning. We look forward to future collaborations.
Kingston, NY - Ulster County Clerk Nina Postupack is pleased to announce the opening of the Matthewis Persen House Museum & Cultural Heritage Center’s 2022 season on Saturday, May 28. The Persen House is located at the corner of Crown and John Streets in uptown Kingston’s Stockade National Historic District. The house will be open for the summer season on Thursdays & Fridays, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
April 19, 2022, Ulster County raised a flag for life!
Kingston, NY – The Ulster County Department of Motor Vehicles and the nonprofit organization Donate Life New York State are teaming up to raise awareness of the lifesaving impact made by organ, eye and tissue donors. On Tuesday, April 19 at 10:30 am, Ulster County will be hosting a “Raise the Flag for Life” event. During this event, a Donate Life Flag will be raised at the Ulster County Office Building, 244 Fair Street, Kingston, to encourage the public to enroll in the New York State Donate Life Registry. Everyone is invited to attend this public event.
