The Acting Ulster County Clerk Taylor Bruck is pleased to announce an update to the DMV Mobile Unit schedule. Beginning Thursday, April 17, 2025, the DMV Mobile Unit will now serve the Town of Plattekill on the third Thursday of every month. The mobile unit will be located at the Plattekill Town Hall, 1915 Route 44-55, Modena, NY 12548.
In an effort to be as conveniently accessible to as many Ulster County residents as possible, the County Clerk’s Office provides limited DMV services through the DMV Mobile Unit, which now travels to seven different towns throughout the year. The mobile unit offers a selection of essential DMV services, bringing convenience to residents who may not be able to visit the Kingston DMV office.

- Learner’s Permit
- Non-Driver I.D.
- REAL ID
- Vehicle Registration
- Registration Renewal
- License Plate Surrender
- Duplicate Title Request
- Change of Address
DMV Mobile Unit Hours:
- 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
