Ulster County Clerk Announces My Kingston Kids “Photography Now!” Exhibit at the Matthewis Persen House Museum

Kingston, NY - Ulster County Clerk Nina Postupack is pleased to welcome the MyKingstonKids “Photography Now!” youth program to the Matthewis Persen House Museum on Saturday, August 19^th from 11:00 am to 4:00pm.  The house is located at 74 John Street in uptown Kingston, at the corner of John and Crown Streets. Admission is free and all are welcome. 

ULSTER COUNTY TO PARTICIPATE IN PEACE TREE PLANTING AND RENEWAL OF 1665 PEACE TREATY WITH LOCAL NATIVE AMERICAN DESCENDANTS

Kingston, NY – Ulster County Clerk Nina Postupack is honored to announce a ceremonial Peace Tree Planting and an historic Peace Treaty Renewal between Ulster County and the Ramapough Lenape Nation, renewing the 1665 Richard Nicolls Esopus Peace Treaty which is part of the Ulster County Clerk’s Archival Collection.  The renewal will take place Friday, August 5^th at the Hudson River Maritime Museum, 50 Rondout Landing, Kingston.

Acting Ulster County Clerk Taylor Bruck Welcomes the Red Feather Singers & Drummers to the Matthewis Persen House Museum

Kingston, NY – Acting Ulster County Clerk Taylor Bruck is pleased to announce that on Saturday, September 14, the Red Feather Singers and Drummers, members of the Association of Native Americans (ANA) of the Mid-Hudson Valley, will host an event at the Matthewis Persen House located at 74 John Street in uptown Kingston, at the corner of John and Crown Streets.
